Akwaaba ‘’Welcome’’ to the land of thousand smiles. Ghana is multilingual State of about 80 recognized languages of which Twi is the most widely spoken language apart from English the official language.
Ghana is the first country south of the Sahara to gain its independence from colonial rule and the pioneer of African unity.
The country Is known for its lush forests, diverse animal life, and miles of sandy beaches along a picturesque coast, Ghana is also celebrated for its rich history, its habitation dating from 10,000 bc and has a fascinating repository of cultural heritage. The country takes its name from the great medieval empire rule of ancient Ghana.
This epic journey will expose you to the rich culture, history, the people, food, landmarks, wildlife, lush green vegetation, and the preserved heritage of the Ghanaian people.
Itinerary
You will be meet and assist by our cultural expert team at the airport and transfer you to your hotel pre-booked.
After checking in and getting settled our team will present you with cultural orientation about the tour.
You will be treated to a Ghanaian royalty with Akwaaba dinner and cultural performance.
Overnight in Accra
Meals included: Dinner.
Good morning, we assumed the Ghanian bed was good to you. Today we will officially start our tour and explore the vibrant city of Accra by Visiting the Independence Square of Ghana, the Jamestown lighthouse, the National Museum, Kwame Nkrumah memorial park and mausoleum, W.E.B Du Bois center and taking our drumming lessons at the Art center. You will be entreated to aromatic Ghanaian delicacies when we visit Buka restaurant for lunch and dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Accra

After breakfast we will take a 3 hours’ drive to the colonial city of Cape Coast and upon arrival, we will visit the Kakum National Park and Canopy walk, a suspended bridge on top of giant trees 250 meters above sea level.
Lunch at the beach front restaurant and enjoy meals and the refreshing breeze.
Visit the Elmina slave dungeon and have the firsthand experience of the dark past of colonization and slavery, walk through the door of no return. Dinner at the hotel
Overnight in Cape Coast

Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast before we set off to continue our exploration, visit the Cape Coast slave dungeon before heading out to Kumasi.
We will make our second stop at Assin Manso slave river (the last bath) enroute to Kumasi, a river where enslaved Africans took what was their last bath on their own soil before been sent to the slave dungeons.
Continue our journey and arrive in the garden city of Ghana Kumasi the capital city of the Ashanti Kingdom. Lunch upon arrival and dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Kumasi

We will embark on history enquiring of the ones powerful Ashanti kingdom and visit the Kings palace, the Manhyia palace museum, Komfo Anokye Sword site, a magical sword placed on the ground during the formation of the Ashanti kingdom, King Prempeh Museum and later visit the biggest open market in West Africa after lunch at Joefel restaurant. Dinner will be hosted at Ike’s café.
Overnight in Kumasi
Meals included: Breakfast.
Today we will explore the ancient technique of the Asante people when we visit the Kente weaving village of Bonwire, Adinkra symbol workshop at Ntonso, fascinating site of wood carving at Awhia, experience traditional naming ceremony and Cocoa farm experience at Adanwomanse.
The Kumasi city mall will host us to Lunch and dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Kumasi
Meals included: Breakfast.
4 hours’ drive through lush vegetation, local Ghanaian settings, and spectacular landmarks of mountain range enroute to Accra.
Lunch will be held at the plus Gold Coast lounge restaurant and dinner at the hotel.

Visit the Aburi Botanical Garden after breakfast and learn about some African plant and spices. We will have a refreshing time at the Asenema waterfall.
Lunch at the Peduase valley resort and dinner and live music at Zen gardens.

We are visiting the Shai Hills reserved for some wildlife experience where upon arrival you will be greeted by fascinating sight of baboon’s monkeys. Explore the sacred grove of the ancient Shai people whilst catching breathtaking sight of Zebras, Antelopes, and Ostrich.
We will have relaxing time on the water when we climb up to the boat and began sailing on the Lake Volta whilst enjoying sumptuous Ghanaian delicacies. Dinner and night life.

All too soon our journey has come to an end, but we still have some shopping to do, and we will visit the Accra Art center for souvenirs, for the gold lovers you will have the opportunity to buy original gold, diamond, or silver jewelry when we visit the PMMC showroom.
